1) General

We take care to provide high-quality learning material, but we cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors. Please notify us if you spot a mistake. SummariesSA may update or change content at any time. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You use the website and materials at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring they meet your requirements.

2) Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly/annual depending on the plan selected). Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT (where applicable). Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.

Cancelling a subscription: You can cancel at any time via your account (or by contacting us). If you cancel, you will keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after cancellation.

Failed payments: If a subscription payment fails, access may be paused until payment is successful.

3) Refunds (Subscriptions)

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, unless required by law or in special circumstances (for example, a faulty or misrepresented service). Cancelling stops future billing and access continues until the end of the billing period. (For once-off PDF purchases, refunds/swaps are handled under the Refund Policy.)

4) Access to Learning Material (Subscription)

Subscription content is delivered digitally through your account (no physical delivery). We aim to provide continuous access, but access may be interrupted due to factors beyond our control (e.g., power outages, hacking, server downtime, maintenance, internet traffic). We will take commercially reasonable steps to restore access within a reasonable period. Users are responsible for having compatible devices/software and internet access.

5) Use of E-learning Materials (Copyright)

All study material is the property of SummariesSA and/or its partners. Content is provided for the registered user’s personal use only. Users may not copy, share, modify, transmit or distribute any materials to others (including sharing login details). Any unauthorised use is prohibited and may result in legal action. Materials are provided “as is” without warranties, and users are responsible for any necessary service, repair or correction related to their device.

6) Third-party Content & Links

We are not responsible for third-party content and provide no warranties regarding external websites linked from our site.

7) Intellectual Property

SummariesSA retains all rights in the intellectual property on this website, including content, branding, design, and materials. No licence is granted to use our intellectual property unless explicitly stated.

8) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The website and materials are provided on an “as is/as available” basis without warranties. SummariesSA is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages. Use and downloads are at the user’s discretion and risk. SummariesSA’s liability will not exceed the amount paid for the subscription period in question.

11) Term & Termination

These terms apply from the time a user starts using the website and continue until terminated by SummariesSA.
